Finding Magic Media

In any Canva design, go to Apps → Magic Media. Type a description of the image you want and select a style (Photo, Drawing, Watercolor, etc.). Canva generates four options per prompt.

Writing Prompts That Actually Work

The difference between a great AI image and a generic one is specificity. Instead of:

"a woman working at a desk"

Try:

"a young woman with natural hair working at a minimalist white desk, morning light, soft bokeh background, editorial photography style"

Include:

Subject — what/who is in the image
Setting — where and what time of day
Mood/style — editorial, cinematic, flat lay, watercolor, etc.
Color palette reference — "warm terracotta tones" or "cool blues and whites"

Matching Generated Images to Your Brand
